Ahryun Lee

After studying Ceramic at the National University of Seoul (South Korea) and at the Royal College of Art in London (UK), Arhyun Lee (이아련 born in South Korea in 1989), moved to Munich (Germany) where she continues her creative explorations and develops a practice combining different techniques and knowledge of the materials from the East and the West. 

The artist works with the traditional material that is porcelain, sculpts playful, tactile and intriguing shapes, plays with textures and the brilliance of colors to model a joyful and singular artworks.
Her original work questions the definition of ceramics and blurs the boundaries between craftsmanship, design and art.
